We Found A Turtle!!!!!!!!!!!

Early today the kids were in the creek looking for rocks, bugs and such. Well Joshua pick picked up a thing which he though was a rock and our neighbor Mr. Dan said that it was a turtle. We were all shocked we did not know that animals lived in our creek!!!! After Mr. Dan brought it up to the bank of the creek we started looking at it. Mom said that it was a box turtle, it was a male and that it was about 13-14 years old!!! I used to have a box turtle when I was about 5 or 6. That is why we no so much about them. Anyways I had my turtle about and month and then let it go back it the woods were I found it. Well after we put it on the bank all the kids crowed around it a started looking at it. Mom said if they sat really still and were quite that the turtle might come out and crawl around!!! Well they acutely sat really still and the turtle came out and looked at them, all the kids were really happy and excided!! Well after all the kids got done looking at it. We got a box from Mrs. Cara and I put some dirt in the box, the kids found some bugs and Mom show them how to make a home for it. Then they decide to name it Oscar and no he is in our garage!!! Here are some pics!!

From a Family Of 5 To A Family Of 9

On Feb. 5Th, God gave is 4 more children. Yes that’s right, 4 more children. Now instead of a family of 5, we are a family of 9. They want to change there names so I am just going to use there new names here, Melissa is 8, Jacob is 5, Katie is a special needs child and is 6 and Joshua is 4. So far everything is been going very well. I call Jacob “Little Man” because that is how he acts. Joshua came to Mom one day and asked if he could be called “Jump-n-jack” and so now we call him that sometimes. The thing about having a family of 9 is that there is never a dull moment. It is always loud, always crazy and most of the time always something to laugh at. It is not easy being a big sister of 6 kids all under the age of 8 but I am relaying on the Lord every day and sometimes the Lord lets it be a warm day so you can send them ALL outside and you can get some quiet!!!

~Very Random Post~

OK this is a very random post but I thought it would be cool to write about.
My Mom was making dinner last night and asked me to get a onion. When I got the onion I took it to the trash can and started getting the skin off of it. While I was doing that I notice something strange about the onion, I just thought it was a bruised were the onion had been dropped. When I gave the onion to Mom she started to cut it. She cut the end off and saw a small brown ring, as she continued cutting the onion she found out that, that little brown ring was actually another skin inside the onion go figure that out!!

Back To School!!!

Today, was our first day back to school since Christmas break. It was actually a very good day. Hopefully, the rest of the school year will as good as today. Since, I was little my favorite subjects have been History and Science. Right now, in History I am learning about World War 2 and in Science I am learning about Chemistry. (I love mixing chemicals.) Both are really fun to learn about. This year I am also doing Shakespeare. So far, I have read only one of his plays which was “Mid Summers Nights Dream” it was very good. The next play I am reading is “Much Ado About Nothing”. Hopefully, it will be just as good as the first play I read. That is about all we are doing in school beside the normal stuff like Math, Reading, Writing and things like that. Post more later.

It Is Christmas Eve!!

Can you believe that it is all ready Christmas Eve and tomorrow is Christmas. (yay) I am sooo excited!! This year has gone by really fast. I can't believe it is almost over. I am done with all of my Christmas shopping and I think Mom and Dad are done with their Christmas shopping. Now, we just have to do the wrapping. I love Christmas; it is my favorite time of year. I don’t really know why but there something with the music, the lights, and the snow. I don’t know but I just really like this time of year. Some of my family’s traditions are getting a Christmas tree on Thanksgiving, making an ornament for the tree and watching a movie on Christmas Eve. One of our other traditions is doing a moving nativity scene. Andrew and I move the pieces of the nativity scene and then on Christmas Eve we put Jesus in the manger with the others. Oh, I can’t wait for tomorrow.
Well, I better go and wrap presents!!
